Hit Rail supports Thalys move with new Hermes site in Brussels

Hermes connectivity is critical for Thalys applications and passengers.
Hit Rail has supported Thalys moving their offices and systems to a new location, close to Gare de Midi in Brussels. The move was performed flawlessly on the night of 24-25 May 2017.
To fulfil Thalys's request, Hit Rail has set-up a new, highly redundant Hermes site at the new Thalys premises. Dual routers and optical Ethernet links connect Thalys to different Hermes points of presence located in Brussels and Antwerpen, for increased redundancy.
Thalys is an international high-speed train operator originally built around the line between Paris and Brussels. Thalys operates lines to Lille, Amsterdam, Cologne and Dortmund as well.
